The short version: I collect only what I need to reply to you and to deliver your project. Analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them. I don't sell your information, and you can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time by emailing ask@autom8.digital.
Who I am
Autom8.Digital ("Autom8", "I", "me") is the freelance design and marketing practice of Arlene T, an independent freelancer. I am the person responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
I work with clients in the European Union, the United States, Australia, Qatar and across the Middle East, so this policy is written to meet the privacy laws of those places, including the EU and UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Principles and Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection. The rights below apply to everyone, wherever you live.

What this policy covers
This policy applies to autom8.digital, to enquiries you send me, and to personal information I handle while working with clients.
Information I collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email me: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share, such as your business name, website, the service you're interested in and your message.
- Client work. When we work together: contact details, billing details, and the business information and account access needed to deliver the project.
- Analytics (only if you accept). Pages visited, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through Google Analytics.
- Technical and security data. Your IP address and browser details, which my hosting provider records in server logs and which are used to block spam on the contact form.
I don't knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs or criminal records), and I ask you not to include it in enquiries. This site is not intended for children.
How I collect it
Mostly directly from you, through the contact form, email, calls and project documents. Some technical information is collected automatically when you visit the site, and analytics information is collected only after you accept analytics cookies.
You can browse this site without telling me who you are. To reply to an enquiry or work together, I need your name and a way to contact you.
Why I use it

I use your information only for these purposes. I don't use it to make automated decisions that significantly affect you.
Marketing messages
I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you agree to it first. Any marketing email I send will identify me and include a simple way to unsubscribe.
Who I share it with
I don't sell or rent personal information. I share it only with service providers that help me run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Website hosting: [Hosting provider]

- Analytics: Google LLC (Google Analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies
- Spam protection: Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile), if enabled on the contact form
- Accounting, payment and project tools used to deliver client work
I may also disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
I work remotely, and some of these providers store or process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. I use only reputable providers that protect personal information to a standard appropriate to the law, and for EU and UK visitors I rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How I protect and keep it
I use encrypted connections (HTTPS), strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available, and access is limited to me. If a breach occurs that could seriously affect you, I'll notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Website enquiries are deleted automatically after 24 months unless we go on to work together. Client and financial records are kept for as long as tax and business laws require, then deleted.

Your rights
You can ask to:
- see the personal information I hold about you, and get a copy of it
- correct it if it's wrong or incomplete
- have it deleted when it's no longer needed
- object to or withdraw consent for how I use it, including analytics and marketing
If you're in the EEA or UK, you can also ask me to restrict how I use your information or send it to you in a portable format.
Email ask@autom8.digital with your request. I'll respond within 30 days. I may need to confirm your identity first, and if I can't meet a request I'll explain why.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how I've handled your information, please email me first and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live: in the EEA or UK, your local data protection authority; in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner; in Qatar, the National Data Privacy Office at the National Cyber Security Agency; and elsewhere in the Middle East, your national data protection regulator.
If you're in the United States
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it for targeted advertising. I respond to privacy requests from residents of any US state in the same way as described above.

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
