About these terms
These terms cover your use of autom8.digital (the "site"), which is run by Arlene T, an independent freelancer trading as Autom8.Digital ("Autom8", "I", "me"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These terms are about the website only. Any project we do together is covered by a separate written proposal and agreement, which will set out the scope, price, timeline and handover.
Information on this site
The content on this site is general information about my services. It isn't professional, legal or financial advice. I work to keep it accurate and up to date, but services, examples and descriptions may change. Project examples show work I've delivered, and the linked client websites are owned and maintained by those clients.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, graphics and code belong to Autom8 or are used with permission. Client names and logos belong to their owners and are shown to describe work I've delivered. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse the site's content or design without my written permission.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to access it without permission, interfering with how it works, sending spam through the contact form, or using automated tools to copy its content.
Links to other websites
The site links to client websites and third-party services such as YouTube. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under a law that can't be excluded, including the consumer protection laws of the country you live in. Where the law allows my liability to be limited, it is limited to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including loss caused by the site being unavailable, by errors in its content, or by viruses or other harmful code. You use the site at your own risk.
Privacy
How I handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy, and how the site uses cookies is explained in the Cookie Policy.
Governing law
If a dispute arises, please email me first and we'll try to resolve it directly. Nothing in these terms takes away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
